Reflections
What you see in your mirror is not what others see.
You see a face reflected in reverse; others see a face projected outwards, which is why you look good in the bathroom and bad in photos, good on Zoom and bad on Google Meet.
You have grown up with a reflection, while everyone else has come to know a perception.
Neither is correct and one is not better than the other.
But it is worth remembering that others do not see you as you do.
Think you’re the best? They probably don’t.
Think you’re the worst? They probably don’t.
The view from your head looks different from theirs, so don’t confuse your reflection with their perception. Stop worrying about how much they’re judging you or how much they’re loving you.
Good or bad, the only face you see is the one in the mirror.
So work on that one.
